There's a large body of research that suggests that regardless of our reasons for working long hours, overwork does not help us. For starters, it doesn't seem to result in more output. Adler’s SkyPower Ltd. has   lined up deals   to build utility-scale   solar farms   in North America, Asia and Africa worth more than $12 billion — though how the projects will be financed remains a mystery. To date, SkyPower has completed 23 projects totaling 300 megawatts, ranking it just 34th among solar developers worldwide, according to Bloomberg New Energy Finance. After a 14-month imprisonment at the Central Jail in Nagpur, G.N. Saibaba, a wheelchair-bound Professor of English at Delhi University accused of having Maoist links, is settling back in his house on the varsity campus. Last Friday, the Mumbai High Court   granted him bail   for three months, so that he could consult doctors for several ailments. The court’s ruling followed a   suo motu   litigation based on an e-mail to the Chief Justice by activist Purnima Upadhyay citing a news report in   The Hindu   that described how Professor Saibaba’s   health was deteriorating   in the prison.
